Pluralistic

Cory Doctorow's latest project, one of the legends of the internet, and he keeps delivering

xkcd

Randall Munroe is one of the creators I have the most respect for, I've been reading xkcd for well over a decade now, as well as everything on What If, everything in the Blag and all his books. One of the first people I saw who could take the nerdiest content and make it actively funny

Nerdcubed

Probably the first 'internet' person I really stuck to. I found Dan's videos over 11 years ago and while my interest in gaming content has dropped a lot over the years I'll always make time to check out his stuff. The hyper editing style of the early years and insane levels of creativity in the videos inspired me a lot in the kind of things I want to make

CGP Grey

I avoided watching CGP Grey videos for a while for no real reason but once I did I saw why he has the amount of fans he does. He has a rare talent for perfectly edited scripts to hold my attention. From listening through the back catalogue of Hello Internet and Cortex I also learned a lot about how to change my outlook on life and work for the better

Dinosaur Comics

20 years of comics without ever changing the art. What an insane accomplishment that is. Somehow Ryan North has managed to keep T. Rex, Dromiceiomimus, and Utahraptor funny and engaging for that long through just quality writing and has spun that talent off into multiple books, comics, and a podcast story

jan Misali

It's my favourite kind of content, long videos about a subject that someone really cares about. I found this channel through the Conlang Critic series and while those are a strong recommend where it really shines is the standalone videos breaking down types of paradox, number systems, or the maths behind Hangman

Tom Scott

If you're here you probably know Tom Scott, but if you don't he's a man famous for travelling the world and making videos about the most interesting places you've never heard of but what I've always respected is his confidence with trying new formats. Everything the Technical Difficulties do, Game Garage, Language Files, Disconnected, Money (still my favourite version of a social deduction game) Questionable, Lateral, they're just all great, creative formats that I always want to see more of
